ROSA BIANCA DELLE VENEZIE, PINOT GRIGIO ROSATO 2022

Insane value Pinot Grigio Rosato made in the hills of Veneto and bottled in the town of Fossalta di Piave, 30 miles to the north of Venice. Produced by the Casa Vinicola Botter company which has been making wine there since 1928 and is headed up by wine maverick Arnaldo Botter, a 3rd generation winemaker overseeing this winery and those in Piedmont and Tuscany. This particular Pinot Grigio Rosato is a blend of 80% Garganega and 20% Pinot Grigio that has got that neon salmon pink hue that you only see on real moreish Rosato's. On the nose fresh aromas of citrus fruits and summer red berries. On the palate, dry and refreshing with excellent acidity leading to a crisp finish. Low Sulphur.
